This design was part of my final piece from the exam side to my AS course. For My exam the topic I chose 'The Green Party' which linked in with the board's given title: 'Rhythms and Cycles'. As the green party is related to the environment's well being and recycling for example I thought this was a good topic to choose, especially as
This was a poster board which party supporters could display outside their homes. I noticed that the main parties had these but the Green Party did not so I therefore decided to go ahead and design them one using the new logo I had already created.

This is the second design. As you can see, the two posters display two completely different styles of dance. One balletic, one hip hop. I felt that the colours and shapes used supported both styles and complemented both dance types successfully.

In the logo I enabled the colour of the 'B' to be altered to suit the dance type: for example a bold, dirty, red for the hip hop poster and a striking, aqua blue for the balletic poster. I based the glowing colour (behind the dancer) on the logo (to correspond with it).

I used the font 'WillGrace' (downloaded from www.dafont.com) as I felt it was sophisticated yet more interesting to look at than the average serif font such as Times New Roman. I like the way that the 'O's slant in : www.blochworld,com

In the hip hop poster, I also like the small dark purple coloured four pointed stars as I feel it just completes and underlines all the shapes above it.

They were printed in A3 and I felt looked effective and able to be seen from a good distance.

As part of my AS level graphic design course I made two posters for my final pieces. My entire coursework project was based on the dancewear company 'BLOCH'.

With these designs I aimed to fulfil what I had initially written in my design brief: "To keep a BLOCH's sophisticated and stylish company image throughout the final designs.

Within this particular project I also decided to create a new logo which is also seen on both designs.
